K1 - Kickboxing Program

K1 is the designation given to our beginning level program.  The emphasis at the this level is on building solid fundamentals through moderately intense cardio conditioning.  This program is designed for all fitness levels.  Participants will learn the basic skills needed to develop viable self-defense. 

The skill focus at the K1 level will be on proper kicking and punching technique through repetitive drills.

K1 participants will learn:

bullet Jab;
bullet Right Cross;
bullet Multiple Hand Combinations;
bullet Front Snap Kick (front leg);
bullet Front Snap Kick (rear leg);
bullet Lead Leg Round House Kick;
bullet Lead Leg Side Kick;
bullet Rear Leg Side Kick;
bullet Punching & Kick Combinations.
